Well, we have some great news this week! We sent in our dossier for approval by our adoption agency. We heard back from them today and there are a few changes we need to make, a few documents we need to update, etc. But in general, most things were great. So, this week we will work on those changes & updates and hopefully we’ll receive our final approval by early next week.
At that point, we must take all of our dossier documents to the Texas Secretary of State and have them “apostilled.” I think this is like a notary of a notary, as far as I can tell. Then we can send everything to Colombia!
We have also made some great progress with our fund-raising – we only need $975 more for this phase!!! We’re so excited. If you have been waiting to buy a shirt or make a donation, please wait no longer! :) The time is now!
